Hybrid rooftop tents

A hybrid puts a hard lid over a fabric body that folds out past the vehicle, so it opens fast and packs low like a hardshell while giving more floor than a plain wedge shell. It is the middle path between the two dominant types, and the ones here that quote a setup time pitch about as quickly as any hardshell.

The catch is that a hybrid rarely matches a large softshell for outright room and still carries the weight of its rigid lid — you pay, in money and mass, for the extra mechanism. These are the hybrids in the database, cheapest first.
