23Zero Onyx Triple X 1450 vs Femkes Lifun
The 23Zero Onyx Triple X 1450 and the Femkes Lifun are both hardshell tents in the same part of the market, which makes them a genuine head-to-head rather than a comparison across categories. 23Zero and Femkes take noticeably different approaches to the same problem.
By the numbers, the 23Zero Onyx Triple X 1450 brings 98 kg, 2.78 m² of floor and sleeps 2. The Femkes Lifun counters with 74 kg, 2.75 m² of floor, 95 cm of headroom and sleeps 2.
The Lifun is 24 kg lighter at 74 kg against 98 kg, which on a factory roof rated for 68 to 75 kg is often the difference between a legal fit and a rack upgrade. Floor area is close to identical at 2.78 m² and 2.75 m², so neither wins on sleeping room. The Lifun lists about 7% lower than the Onyx Triple X 1450.
The Onyx Triple X 1450 uses oxide-coated aluminium extrusions with a honeycomb base; the Lifun uses aerodynamic ABS, waterproof, bottom fitted with upholstery. Canvas differs too: 320 gsm canvas with Light Suppression Technology (LST) against polyester mix with cotton 280 gr fabric, waterproof and fire-retardant. Closed, the Onyx Triple X 1450 sits 9 cm lower on the roof — 22 cm against 31 cm — which is drag you carry on every mile you are not camping.

Which one to pick
Take the Lifun if your roof load limit is the binding constraint. Beyond that the feature rows below — heater port, skylight, annex, cargo rails — are where the remaining difference lies.
