Gordigear Tanami Light 140 vs Gordigear Tanami Pro
Both of these are Gordigear tents, so the question is not which brand to trust but which size and configuration suits your vehicle and how you camp. The Tanami Light 140 and the Tanami Pro share Gordigear's construction and warranty; where they part company is in the numbers below.
By the numbers, the Gordigear Tanami Light 140 brings 52 kg, 3.46 m² of floor, 130 cm of headroom and sleeps 2. The Gordigear Tanami Pro counters with 66 kg, 4.61 m² of floor, 130 cm of headroom and sleeps 2.
The Tanami Light 140 is 14 kg lighter at 52 kg against 66 kg, which on a factory roof rated for 68 to 75 kg is often the difference between a legal fit and a rack upgrade. Inside, the Tanami Pro gives 4.61 m² of sleeping floor against 3.46 m², about 33 percent more, though both are rated for 2. The Tanami Light 140 lists about 35% lower than the Tanami Pro.
Canvas differs too: 265 gr/m2 ripstop polyester-cotton blend, polyurethane impregnated and UV resistant against 320 gr/m2 ripstop polyester-cotton blend, waterproof with polyurethane impregnation.

- Heavier 320 gr/m2 canopy versus the 265 gr/m2 on the Plus and Light
- Taped double-stitched seams and a stated 300 kg interior load capacity
- Packed and open dimensions are not published per size
Which one to pick
Take the Tanami Light 140 if the budget is fixed. Take the Tanami Pro if you need the sleeping room more than you need the lighter tent. Beyond that the feature rows below — heater port, skylight, annex, cargo rails — are where the remaining difference lies.
